Mountaineer Food Bank supplies food to feeding programs in 48 of the 55 counties in WV, including the food pantry at Heart and Hand and other agencies in Barbour County. Between March 12-16, we have an opportunity to help the Food Bank win their share of 125,000 meals in the Food Lion Feeds Meal Madness campaign. Active for Life is a low-impact exercise program for persons 55 and over. The program is open to any older adult in the community and there is no cost to attend. It is not required of participants to attend every session. Participants also receive regular blood pressure screening, celebrate special holidays and just have fun.
