Email Rev. TimRev. Tim Halloran grew up in a Christian home and dairy farm in Talcott, WV. When he was 20 years old, he said he felt the call to go into the ministry. After going through the process, the bishop appointed him to a church in Williamsburg, WV, where he stayed for two months. He was then moved to Montgomery, WV, where he stayed five years, leading two small community churches and, at the same time, earned a teaching degree at West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
While in Montgomery, Tim met his wife Reva and got married before moving to North Carolina to start graduate school at Duke University. But after a year of classes and pastoring, he felt overloaded. Both he and his wife decided to spend the next two years earning master's degrees as full-time students before spending four years at a church in Beckley, WV.
From Beckley, WV, the Halloran family, all four of them by that time, moved to Huntington, WV in 1992 for a journey that has seen the Cross Roads UM Church grow tremendously.
Hannah, who graduated from Huntington High School in 2007, is attending Marshall University. Cameron, who is 17, will graduate High School this May .

Email JennyI would like to introduce myself, my name is Jenny Dailey and I will be continuing to work with the Kidz Rock After School Program. I am also currently the kidZONE Director at Chestnut Ridge Church where I work each week with a team to teach our elementary (K-4) students that God loves them and wants to have a forever relationship with them. Originally from the Huntington, WV area (where I first met Rev. Halloran and his wife Reva), I graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. While there, God began to lead me to full-time ministry. I had always had a heart for kids and loved being able to help them understand more about God’s love. After graduating, I went on to complete a Master’s of Divinity in Church Ministries from Liberty University. I have worked for several years in Children’s Ministry and absolutely LOVE seeing kids put their faith in Jesus and live their lives for Him.
While in Kidz Rock, we will be focusing on a virtue every month. Basically, a virtue is something God does in us to change the world around us. God not only creates these virtues but also exemplifies them. God instills the virtues in us as He shapes us to become more like Him. And God uses that virtue in us to influence and impact our families, friends, and neighbors. As others notice the virtue being lived out in our lives, we have more opportunities to tell them about God. As they come to trust God, they’ll influence others as well.
